It's Almost Time To Party

Party Friday is coming quickly, for those of you that RSVP'd for the Christmas party we thank you! If you have not told us if you plan to attend please do so right away, we want to make sure we are prepared for you if you choose to come have fun and celebrate with us. We are really looking forward to celebrating an amazing 2010 and sharing 2011 with you.

Just a quick reminder, the party starts at 6:00 pm Friday December 17th. Dinner will be served shortly after. Santa will be here at 6:30 until 7:00ish to hand out gifts to every child here. We will have a movie theater set up for the kids with a Christmas movie playing. Lots of snacks, food, drinks and FUN.

Christmas Party Update

I forgot to add the date and time of our upcoming Christmas party, so here are the details.

Santa will be arriving from the North Pole about 6:30 pm
Dinner will be served for those that RSVP about 7:00 pm
If you don't RSVP you are still welcome to come enjoy the festivities and community however there may not be enough food for you.

Christmas Party Coming up FAST

Woah, where has the time gone? It has been way too long since my last blog post. Savannah is growing fast and is a very healthy and happy baby. As thanksgiving is fast approaching I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you and invite you to our Christmas party.

 It has been an awesome year and we are so grateful for having amazing people like you in our lives.  Please give us the opportunity to say thank you by joining us with your family for a fun dinner celebration.

We will have gifts, prizes, and GOODIES for the kids :)  and we just got confirmation that Santa will be coming in from the North Pole for a quick visit around 6:30 pm so make sure your little ones remember to bring their list. 

Family and friends are welcome to join you!  Because we are providing dinner, RSVP is required by Monday, December 13th. Just email us at pacificchiro@gmail.com or call the office at 760-643-9191 and let us know how many are coming.

Please bring the kids! We will have an awesome movie theater room set up with a festive movies like Charlie Brown's Christmas or Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

Are Shots Required For School in California?

Nope, as Californians we are allowed an exemption based on medical, philosophical or religious belief. So if YOU choose not to vaccinate or to delay vaccination you are legally entitled to do so. 

Do not ask your kids school for an exemption card, many times they will not have them.  It is located on the back side of School Immunization Record or form pm286b

Meet Our Baby Savannah

On Saturday May15th we are having an “Open Office” where you can come down and meet our beautiful daughter Savannah. She will be 2 months old and we would love to have YOU and any GUESTS for some finger food, a meet and greet with Savannah as well as an opportunity to meet our amazing midwife Michelle Freund.

For those that don’t know, we did a 100% natural birth at home. It was the most empowering thing Carleigh and I have ever done. We wanted to share what we did and show that it is possible to have a birth EXACTLY the way you want it, whether it is at home, a birthing center or a hospital.

Michelle Freund is a licensed midwife and has been in practice for over 20 years. During that time she has “caught” well over 500 babies. You can learn more about her at her website.

Mothers Appreciation Day

Being a new father I can appreciate how much a mother does, so right after Mothers Day I’ve decided to give every mom who calls my office a FREE ADJUSTMENT on Tuesday May 11^th between 3-6pm. All you have to do is call my office and tell Lisa or Carleigh that you want the Mothers free gift and they will take care of the rest. 

Now; Obviously I have limited spaces and if this opportunity lasts more than 72 hours… I will be surprised.  VERY SURPRISED.   

So call right now, because I have no plans to do this again.  At least not in the near future.  If I do, it will depend how much flack I get from my accountant for “giving away the farm.”

This offer is good for Mom’s that have been in to see us for an adjustment within the last 3 months, however if its been longer than that or you have never been in to see us, that’s o.k. we have a special gift for you too!

Leave It to My Mom

Ok, so my mother being the good grandmother she is, decides to bring over some baby pictures to show everyone the similarities between my daughter and myself. I'm thinking it's just Mom talking a good game but then she come up with this doozie.

It's Official - Savannah Jean Dette

We have officially decided on a name. Savannah Jean Dette. She is doing fantastic and changing a little everyday. Here are some pictures, enjoy.

These two are from Monday 3/15/10. Just 72 hours old. Look at all that hair!

These 2 are from Tuesday 3/16/2010. Just 4 days old. She changes so fast!

She absolutely loves the water and sun, I think we have a beach girl. Oh yea, a lot of people are asking; Yes Savannah had her first adjustment moments after her birth, and I have been checking her for subluxations twice a day. I am making sure she has the best possible start in life!

Welcome Baby Dette

Baby Dette was born at 9:04 am Friday March 12th. She measured 20 2/8 inches and weighed in at an even 8lbs. She was born 100% drug free; Naturally at home. It was an absolutely amazing experience.

I highly recommend without reservation our midwife Michelle Freund. It was fantastic to work with her and her team Minette and Nancy. She can be reached here at Birth Matters.

Our birth experience went precisely as we had planned and I believe that did not happen by accident. It was with careful planning, a commitment to natural health and an excellent and extremely knowledgeable team around to support us.

We still have not decided on a name, but will in the next day or so... Stay tuned.
